Being first time new boat buyers we were looking for good sound advice and direction as to which boat would best suit our requirements. We prepared our wish list and entered the market place excitedly.
Helens visit to Trev Terry Marine Taupo sat comfortably with her as their salesman Denis King set about explaining the to and fros of new boat models, makes and availability without any pressure. We also visited the central district field days and other dealers searching for our new boat.
Eventually we decided to purchase a Haines Hunter SR535 from Trev Terry Marine Taupo due to their honesty and trustworthiness. We thank you Brock, Rhys, Denis and the team at Trev Terry Marine.

After researching the Internet for a good reliable and suitable brand of jetski to buy, I found Trev Terry Marine’s webpage to have a variety of showroom stock to choose from so decided to travel to Taupo to view the range of Yamaha’s finest products without commiting on the day. It didn’t take long to discover that Brock is very knowledgable and a genuine willingness to take the time to answer all queries and am sure he met a challenge that day. Finally, I found someone I’d like to purchase from. Because of that and with a cup of complimentry coffee in hand, a decision to purchase a new Yamaha jetski was made there and then.
Everything was excellent quality right down to the trailer. The delivery date was spot on, getting registration and WOF sorted, presentation on delivery, etc.....everything spoke quality & care and nothing was a bother. A bottle of wine to christen the bow (so they thought) was an unexpected surprise and not forgotten. This turned out to be the best decision I ever made and has exceeded all expectations from a Dealership. Since then the list of accessories continues to grow and is a wonderful shopping experience each time at Trev Tery Marine - prices are good too.
I am thrilled that Rhys and his Team in the Service Dept have taken the greatest care since servicing the new Toy and there will be many more visits to come in the future knowing it’s in safe hands and an excellent job well done - thank you Guys. With a genuine interest from Brock, Rhys & Team , they make one welcomed on each visit. I can understand why they are the No1 Platinum Dealership in New Zealand and would recommend them to anyone with a boating or jetski interest. The best part is ‘Leaving Happy’

I recently purchased a sweet little Bonito 16 from Brock and the team at Trev Terry Marine, have been looking around at boats for months, and been on their yard a multitude of times, I was sure that they would see me coming and run and hide, but no, all i have ever received is a smile, the offer of coffee and told to look around as much as i like. The advice I got when I finally made my decision has turned out to be spot on, and I would point out that my purchase was at the lower end of the spectrum, nothing seemed to be much trouble for these guys, and i am very happy with my purchase.
When you walk onto the yard the stock is clean and tidy, and the showroom is nicley laid out and the staff are well presented, knowledgeable and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending Brock, Rhys, Denis and the rest of the team to anyone wishing to purchase a boat, or assocaited equipment.

After a number of years as a Professional guide here in Taupo, guiding out of top lodges such as Tongariro and Huka Lodge, the time came to upgrade our Commercial Lake Fishing Operation.
As a result of visiting most of the North Island's leading small boat manafacturers suppliers, I came to the conclusion that Haines Hunter SS700 was the perfect vessel for our needs and Trev Terry Marine was the best person to supply it. Brock and Gordon were sensational to deal with at the time and my sometimes difficult requests were never a problem.
As we were purchasing a new vessel, we put huge faith in Brocks ability to fit the boat out to our requirements. Being a commercial operation, there were many extras of serious value to be fitted including large screen sounders and GPS, VHF, compass, electric flush toilet into holding tanks, two electric Scotty downrigger, main four stroke Yamaha plus Yamaha auxiliary with remotes and so on. The resluts were flawless, full credit to Brock and his team. Coupled with the expert support and service provided by the Trev Terry crew, in my opinion, you will not find a better operation.
I will look forward to remaining one of their many loyal clients in the years to come.

We purchased our boat new in late 2006, the first new boat we had purchased since 1974.The staff spent a lot of helpful time in discussion possible options for boat, motor and accessories, and once we had settled on exactly what we wanted, they negotiated what we considered to be a very good price.
Ordering and fitting out of the equipment was done to a very high standard, and any subsequent adjustments necessary to get everything performing perfectly has been quickly attended to.
A fantastic business to deal with, and a great boat!

Having sold a large boat we had decided to wait for a while, look around and see what was available before rushing to purchase anything else. No rush!
Only days after selling the boat, following a quick trip to the supermarket to buy rubbish bags we wandered across the road to Trev Terry Marine to have a browse at what was on the lot. Brock's genuine passion for the latest Haines Hunter 660 was infectious and his willingness to broker a good deal was too good to pass up.
Two days later we had purchased the 660 hard top.
The follow up by the Trev Terry team in terms of attention to detail with the initial fit-out, servicing of the boat (during and after businessHours) was fantastic and I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone - unless you're only wanting to buy rubbish bags!

They provide professionally and friendly service to all their customers.
In 2007 I purchased a smart wave 2.4mtr boat and a 4hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard from them.
On my first outing I got oil in the cylinder head and could not start it on an early Saturday morning, so I took the engine in at opening time and the work shop team got the engine running at no charge.
Also in 2007 Brock and the team fixed a faulty cooling system on my brothers Evinrude 130HP outboard, which my brother had tried to get fixed in Auckland with no success. He decided to bring it down to Taupo.
Brock and the team quickly worked out the problem and repaired it. Henk has had no further trouble and will only get his Haines Hunter 535 serviced by them.
Henk had purchased the boat from Trev Terry Marine 10 Years earlier and it is a great product, as is my Smart wave 2.4. I can recommend both boats and motors.
Once again I can only stress they have great products and great service.

I am a first time boat owner and asked Trev Terry Marine to find me an affordable and reliable boat for the lake that I could use for taking family and friends out fishing and water skiing. They not only found me a good boat, but they took me out for a lesson in launching and driving the boat, boat safety, gave me tips on maintenance, and even helped me catch my first trout. This made the buying experience easy and ensured I got lots of enjoyment out of my boat.
