Here at Trev Terry Marine, we’ve teamed up with local environmentalist ‘Didymo Dave’, winner of New Zealand’s Biosecurity Minister’s Award to bring you a school holiday competition for our youth to promote the importance of protecting our precious freshwater resource and fishery.
Write one page on the importance of why anglers and recreational water users need to check, clean and dry their gear when moving between waterways. Entries can be typed or hand-written. Remember to include your name and contact details, so we can contact you if you WIN.
Anyone aged 18 or under
Entries to be handed in to one of our 3 branches, Taupo, Turangi or Kinloch. The last day to hand in your entries is Friday, October 15th at 4 pm. The prize will be drawn immediately. The first prize to be won is a Kilwell jigging rod and other prizes include vouchers and hand-tied flies from Didymo Dave himself.
