Profile 545C

In-Stock, and for sale is this Profile 545C. This truly is a fishing vessel at the highest caliber, founded by Mark Lincoln, the company Profile Boats have become a market leader in the manufacturing and construction of aluminum pontoon boats that goes back 21 years. Lincoln has established himself in the industry with his time at Silver Sharks as well as the iconic Senator Boats.

The rundown of the 545C

Construction:

  • Features 4mm bottoms and deck, along with 3mm pontoons.
  • The hull is supported by the pontoon structure itself, with four full-length bearers and keel assembly.
  • The bottom plates are butted up at the keel line, and fully seam welded.
  • Lateral support is, provided with the main bulkhead at the helm.

The construction of this 545c provides a great level of buoyancy on board, especially with a pontoon design.

Layout:

The 545c may not be a boat for overnighting with limited cabin space onboard, but a small berth has been fitted which provides somewhat of space to take a nap, along with some internal stowage too.

A flat-topped dash is functional, and also provides plenty of space to mount your instruments. On this particular 545c, a Lowrance Elite 7 HDI and Uniden VHF radio are included.

The line of vision for the helmsman is over the top of the low, tinted polycarbonate screen, then the turndown of the leading edge of the screen keeping the wind-rush out of your face. Tube matting is fitted, which provides good footing and drains to the large central sump under the transom. All in all, in terms of space the 545c provides a great level of usability through a fair amount of stowage built-in, along with plenty of cockpit workroom.

Fishability:

The Profile 545C being a modest size fishing vessel ticks the boxes in terms of high stability, high reserve buoyancy, and carrying ability. Whether it be coastal fishing, diving, or even being beach launched, the 545c will do the job.

Four gunwale rod holders are fitted, a bait board, a rocket launcher and to top it off, a cray pot winch is installed to pull your cray pots, crab pots, and berley in.

So what are you waiting for? Come and find your happy place on this Profile 545c. A fishing boat for all those anglers out there, seeking a mid-sized boat, with a solid construction, soft, dry ride, and more importantly built for New Zealand’s coastlines.
