STABICRAFT SOUTH BECOMES TREV TERRY STABI SOUTHERN

It’s a new name and direction for the Stabicraft Southern team as of 28th November.

Helmed by Hayden Sayer, Dealer Principal and Rick McDermott, Service Manager – the team have become a part of the Trev Terry Group headed by Brock Terry.

Stabicraft Marine approached the Trev Terry Marine team to purchase the southern dealership as Stabicraft Marine focuses on its manufacturing capabilities and increasing production. Stabicraft saw the innovation and direction that the Trev Terry Marine team have, as natural growth for the southern dealership.

Operating as Trev Terry South; Hayden, Rick and the team all remain in place with the same contact details to deliver the service that the Stabicraft Southern clients appreciate.

The dealership continues with the Stabicraft exclusive sales region of Southland, Otago, South Canterbury and overseas; while continuing to work closely with Stabicraft Marine to provide a range of services for boats being shipped to other dealers. The Service Centre keeps providing the same servicing needs including home servicing out of region and looks forward to expanding the technician’s experience with a range of different boat brands under Trev Terry Marine’s second-hand boat sales.

The retail store offers a full experience, from purchasing new and used boats to finance and insurance and “Find Your Happy Place” boating accessories. The store is not a Boating and Outdoors store for Trev Terry South. We have and will continue a great working relationship with Pleasure and Marine, Invercargill who are the local Boating and Outdoors retailer.

The southern dealership holds a pre-rigging agreement for Stabicraft Marine. From the dealership the team handle all national and international pre rigs on Stabicraft boats. Trev Terry will have the ability to add Fibreglass products through Buccaneer Boats and Regal.

The area is the most southern dealership of the Trev Terry Group, and the region of Southland has Lake Te Anau and Manapouri through to Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown and Lake Wanaka, which see some similar boat set ups with camping canopies and aux motors as we do in Taupo. The recent Te Anau Fishing Tournament attracts 2000 freshwater anglers, an absolute record in NZ for a freshwater fishing comp. The Wanaka AMP Show is the south islands largest agricultural show on the shores of Lake Wanaka which has been a successful event for the team at southern and on March 23rd will be represented with even more offering through the Trev Terry Group.

With the power of having Stabicraft Southern and Wanaka Marine Trev Terry will be able to provide a great customer service experience for the greater Southland region.
