The sixth and seventh rounds are the final two rounds of the Summer Series and will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of April at Stump Bay on the South Eastern shores of Lake Taupo. Raced as individual rounds, riders will compete for end of season points. The weekend’s racing runs concurrently with our ANNUAL GRAND PRIX (further info below),
The venue for the event is Waiotaka Scenic Reserve, on Frethey Drive, turn-off from SH 1, just north of Turangi. This will be our first event at this beautiful venue. A perfect spot for racing, parking, relaxing and spectating.
Please note that we have not secured a food or coffee trailer for the weekend, please ensure to bring your own food for both days.
This prestigious 2-day event attracts riders from across New Zealand, competing for a coveted title. The event, run concurrently with Rounds 6 and 7 of the Summer Series, will be raced over the two days as a Championship Event (with points from all races tallied at the end of Day 2.) Four races are planned for each day. Registrations will define the classes that will be run, according to UIM rules.

There is plenty of parking at the reserve and if you have a trolley you can launch your ski directly off the beach. If you need a boat ramp, the closest are around 10-15 minute ride away. Tokaanu Southern Boat Ramp is south of the venue near Turangi and Oruratua Boat Ramp is just north of Motuoapa, north of the venue.
The Prize-giving for Round 6 will be held on the beach after racing.
The Prize-giving for Round 7, End of Season & Grand Prix will be held at the Tokaanu Water Sports Centre, Kaiwaka Road. FURTHER INFO TO COME!!
